Ramps and equipment for the disabled

Ramps (SeaTrac), showers, changing rooms and shaded areas for People with Disabilities were equipped yesterday, Wednesday 13 August 2025, at the beaches of Lefkandi and Kalamia, through the process of leasing the equipment from the Municipality of Chalkida.
At the same time, on the same day, the Municipality received funding approval of €279,999.98 for permanent SeaTrac positions and full equipment for People with Disabilities at the beaches of Asteria, Sykies, Lefkandi and Alykes, within the framework of the “Accessible Beaches” sub-project of the Recovery and Resilience Fund implemented by the Ministry of Tourism.
