New street lighting installed at Agios Nikolaos and Agia Varvara Squares

With the completion of Agios Nikolaos and Agia Varvara Squares, the Municipality of Chalkida has finalized the municipal street lighting upgrade project. This was carried out within the framework of the Municipality’s Urban Regeneration Program (SBAA) for the 2021–2027 NSRF programming period of the Region of Central Greece.

As part of the project, new modern LED lighting fixtures were installed at:
– Avanton commercial street
– Ermou Street
– The Fire Department area
– Agios Nikolaos Square
– Agia Varvara Square

“The upgrade of municipal lighting is yet another significant intervention that makes our neighborhoods safer. We continue to invest in projects and initiatives that transform the city’s image and improve citizens’ daily lives”, said the Mayor of Chalkida, Elena Vaka.
